Can I import existing FMEA data into my Worksheets?

Yes, Enterprise CORE allows you to import existing FMEA data into your Worksheets. This feature enables you to efficiently reuse previously captured data, maintain consistency, and save time when creating new Worksheets or updating existing ones.

Download and use templates:

When importing data, download and utilize the templates provided by the system. Your data must conform to the required format to ensure a successful import.

The downloaded templates reflect your current preferences, including form type and any customized templates you have configured.

It is recommended to use the CORE View type when importing existing data. This allows linkages to be established across your Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan views, ensuring consistency and traceability.

Adjust and remap columns as necessary:

Remap the columns as needed to ensure that imported data aligns correctly with your Worksheet structure and system requirements.

Delete any unnecessary headers or records:

Remove unnecessary headers and records before completing the import to ensure clean, accurate data in your Worksheet.

Tip: Importing data is recommended for the Reusable Library, enabling you to efficiently reuse and manage active FMEA content across multiple Worksheets.

Note: Importing data at the Worksheet level is generally reserved for legacy data that is no longer actively used.
